Back-to-School with Campus Mom: Supporting Your Aggie This Fall
Howdy, Aggie families!
The fall semester is here, and you can feel the energy all over Aggieland. Move-in boxes have been unpacked, class schedules are filling up, and the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band is already practicing for game day. Whether your student is a wide-eyed freshman just finding their way around campus or a seasoned senior preparing for their next chapter, this season always brings a mix of excitement, nerves, and big changes.
That’s where Campus Mom comes in. Karen and I started Campus Mom because we know how important it is for students to have support right here in College Station—even when family can’t be nearby. Think of us as your student’s “mom away from home.” We’re here to bring a little extra encouragement, a familiar smile, and the kind of care that makes all the difference when college life gets busy.
What We’ve Been Up To
Over the summer, we’ve been busy getting ready for the new semester. We’ve refreshed some of our services, brainstormed fun new ways to surprise your Aggies, and connected with lots of families who are excited to have that extra layer of support for their students. It’s been such a joy to watch Campus Mom grow, and we can’t wait for another semester full of meaningful moments.
Updated Services for Fall 2025
Here’s a peek at what we’re offering this semester:
Wellness Check-Ins – Sometimes students just need someone to check in, bring a smile, and remind them that they’re doing great.
Surprise Deliveries – Whether it’s a birthday, a little “good luck” before a test, or just-because goodies, we love creating moments that brighten their day.
Sorority Recruitment Support – Recruitment can be an exciting but overwhelming time. We’re here to make sure your student feels confident, cared for, and supported through it all.
Custom Requests – Have a special idea? We’ll work with you to bring it to life.
Why Fall is the Perfect Time
The start of the semester sets the tone for the rest of the year. Having Campus Mom by your student’s side can ease the transition, offer reassurance, and keep them connected with home even while they’re building their independence. And let’s be honest—between football games, late-night study sessions, and everything else that fills an Aggie’s schedule, a little extra support goes a long way.
